Description
This entirely gold-plated bronze bowl, excavated from Tomb No. 48 in Zone C of the Shih-san-hang archaeological site, features a curved body with a foot ring and a flared rim which has a circumferential row of perforations on the lip. The interior is engraved with a peony motif. Faint lathe marks are discernible on the exterior and base. The surface exhibits severe corrosion and sandstone cementation.
