Description
Jiao dou was a warming vessel which could possibly be used as a wine container. Different materials, including bronze, iron, pottery, and porcelain, were used to make Jiao dou in various shapes and with different decorations. The handles could be flared or straight. They were commonly used as grave goods from the Han dynasty to the Southern and Northern dynasties.
